It has been another long delay between posts - so here we are almost exactly 8 years after buying the van giving some updates.
We've used the van extensively in the UK and Europe, and the overriding view is that the planning we did upfront meant that we got the van very right at the start.
The experience has been put to good use converting a van for a friend, and helping another friend convert a van for his daughter!
That's not to say that we haven't done any further work on it and I plan to cover those updates in a series of posts over the next few days or so. The updates have included an additional solar panel and changing to a Lithium battery (which meant upgrades to the electrics), re-upholstering the front seats and adding lighting inside some of the cupboards. The drawer unit mentioned in the previous post didn't work out! So nothing fundamental!

A few years ago we added a tracker, from Trutrak. This is a surprisingly cheap device, and has an annual subscription which costs about £60 per annum, worthwhile in our view. Fitting is straightforward, although it is best to put it someshere hidden, hence no photos!
As well as the security aspects, it is great to look back on a trip and see exactly where we have been!
